SENIORS:  When you bring Scholarship & College applications to the counseling office, please make sure  you have them to us at least a week before the due date to ensure that they are mailed on time.

The Laurence Kleven Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: April 10, 2020
Two $250 scholarships awarded to high school seniors who will be furthering their education. Applicants must reside within the area served by the St. Louis County Agricultural Fair Association and have exhibited at the St. Louis County Fair. Applications are available in the Counseling Office.


Al Church Scholarship
Deadline: April 14, 2020
Applicant must be a child or grandchild of an AFSCME Council 65 or Council 65 Retiree member. Must be enrolled in a college, university, vocational, technical, or trade school in Minnesota or one that has reciprocity with the state of Minnesota. Northland Community & Technical College – Workforce Development Scholarships
Deadline: April 15, 2020
Available to students attending Northland Community & Technical College in the fall of 2020. Click here for more information and to apply online.


The Horatio Alger Career & Technical Scholarship
Deadline: April 15, 2020
Applicants must be enrolling in an eligible program in fall of 2020, exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program, demonstrate financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA) and demonstrate perseverance in overcoming Diversity.  Click here for more information and to apply online.


Range Cooperatives & Virginia Coop Credit Union Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2020
Available to students currently attending a college or technical college, NOT INCLUDING post-secondary option (PSEO). Applicants must have completed a minimum of one semester with at least 12 credits per semester. Applications are available at the Range Cooperatives Office in Virginia or Ely and the Virginia Coop Credit Union.


Duluth Builders Exchange Legacy Scholarship
Deadline: May 1, 2020
Created just this past winter, the new Duluth Builders Exchange Legacy Scholarship will provide up to $500 for tools and safety gear for individuals entering the trades through an apprenticeship program. Click here to apply online through the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.


Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship (High School Juniors)

Triple-Impact Competitor®  Scholarship

Deadline: May 31, 2020
Positive Coaching Alliance  (PCA) awards scholarships to high school athletes. A Triple-Impact Competitor® is an athlete who works to improve oneself, teammates, and the game as a whole. These individuals play a special role in Positive Coaching Alliance’s mission to turn high school and youth sports into a Development Zone™, developing better athletes and better people, since sports and games are really popular, if you’re a good follower of the sports and even do bets online, you will also enjoy games as baccarat online where you can also make money online. Andrew A. Lindberg Memorial Foundation Scholarship Fund 
Deadline: June 30, 2020
Scholarship amount is $2,500 per year, renewable for up to 5 years by maintaining a 3.25 Undergraduate GPA and while still satisfying eligibility requirements (sans grade level).
Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Must be a resident and High School Senior from a town with a population fewer than 25,000 in the state of Minnesota. 
  • Must come from an agricultural background rooted in the state of Minnesota, i.e. working on a family farm or working in agricultural service, etc. 
  • Must have graduated from High School with a GPA of 3.5 or greater and received admittance with incoming freshman status to an accredited physical (not online) education institution beyond the high school level prior to the award date [8/30/2020].

Minnesota Indian Scholarship
Provides postsecondary financial assistance to eligible Minnesota resident students who are of one-fourth or more Indian ancestry and demonstrate financial need for an award. Click
