Quad Cities Rotary Club Scholarship 
Available to graduating seniors of Virginia High School and/or a subsequent consolidated school, and who will be entering a Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota or South Dakota post-secondary institution
in the fall of 2019.
An electronic application is available below.
Applications must be mailed to Quad Cities Rotary Club and received no later than May 31, 2019 by 4:00pm. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Triple-Impact Competitor®  Scholarship
Positive Coaching Alliance  (PCA) awards scholarships of $500-$2,000 (depending on location) to high school athletes. A Triple-Impact Competitor® is an athlete who works to improve oneself, teammates, and the game as a whole. These individuals play a special role in Positive Coaching Alliance’s mission to turn high school and youth sports into a Development Zone™, developing better athletes and better people. Eligibility extends to any high school junior residing anywhere in the U.S. and playing for a high school team or in club sports! EAA Chapter 272 Lucas/Hanson Memorial Scholarship 

Available to graduating seniors pursuing an education in the field of aviation. Applicants must have high personal standards and qualities as well as a strong interest in aviation.
Letters of application must include:
  • Applicant’s mailing address and phone number
  • Applicant’s interest in aviation
  • Applicant’s exposure to aviation
  • Future aviation plans
  • Why applicant wants/seeks the scholarship
  • A letter of recommendation from one educational instructor or an adult involved in aviation who is familiar with the applicant must be submitted.

The Minnesota Chapter of Women in Public Finance Scholarship
The Minnesota Chapter of Women in Public Finance (MnWPF) is offering scholarships to college-bound high school women entering their senior year of high school in the fall of 2018 AND to female college undergraduates entering their freshman or sophomore years in the fall of 2018. A total of $5,000 will be allocated toward this effort. Click here for an application and to apply online.

Mesabi Range College Scholarships
There are numerous scholarships available to applicants enrolling as a full-time students at Mesabi Range College. A full-time freshman or a full-time sophomore is a student who is registered for at least 12 Mesabi Range College credits and must be taken at Mesabi Range College.

Horatio Alger Association Career and Technical Scholarship Program
The Horatio Alger Association is offering 1,020 scholarships of up to $2,500 each to students enrolled in career and technical programs in the Fall of 2019.  Applicants must exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program, demonstrate financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA), be involved in community service activities, exhibit integrity and demonstrate perseverance in overcoming adversity.  Click here for more information and to apply online.

Minnesota Indian Scholarship
Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program provides postsecondary financial assistance to eligible Minnesota resident students who are of one-fourth or more Indian ancestry and demonstrate financial need for an award.
In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must be:

  • One-fourth or more American Indian
  • A Minnesota Resident
  • Enrolled in an accredited college, university or vocational school in Minnesota
  • An undergrad student who qualifies for either a Pell or State Grant and demonstrates financial need or a graduate student who demonstrates financial need
