There will be two open family gym nights in April:
Thursday, April 6th, 2017 is an open gym night, as well as S.T.E.M. activity night. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. The children will work together on problem solving, designing structures, asking questions, and exploring materials. There will be a creation, matching, jumping jacks, writing, cup stacking, and ABC order station. Come and explore the way things work while making your child a better problem solver and learner. A light snack will be served.
Thursday, April 20th, 2017 is an open family gym night. Enjoy gym activities and a light snack. Remember gym shoes are required for all who play in the gym.
These events are organized for families and their children, birth to not yet in kindergarten. Siblings ages 8 and younger may participate also.
Join us in April for fun in the gym and educational STEM activities!

Early Childhood Family Education classes have been popular with parents/caregivers and their children for many, many years! Here are some quotes from parents in the program:
“I enjoy taking my children to ECFE because it gives me a chance to get out and meet other moms with children the same age as mine. I’ve made lifelong friends from attending ECFE classes.”
“All of my children look forward to their time at ECFE and ask daily when they get to go again.”
“The teaching staff are helpful and provide current resources to parents to assist in their children’s development.”
“My child is exposed to a variety of activities and it is fun to see how he responds to a school routine firsthand.”
“I would recommend the ECFE program to any parent within the Virginia area community. The Parkview Learning Center is a state-of-the-art facility and is a model neighborhood school.”
If any of these testimonials convince you to sign up for a class, please call the ECFE office at 742-3805! We still have openings in winter classes 2017 and would love to have you join us!
