Early Childhood Family Education classes have been popular with parents/caregivers and their children for many, many years! Here are some quotes from parents in the program:
“I enjoy taking my children to ECFE because it gives me a chance to get out and meet other moms with children the same age as mine. I’ve made lifelong friends from attending ECFE classes.”
“All of my children look forward to their time at ECFE and ask daily when they get to go again.”
“The teaching staff are helpful and provide current resources to parents to assist in their children’s development.”
“My child is exposed to a variety of activities and it is fun to see how he responds to a school routine firsthand.”
“I would recommend the ECFE program to any parent within the Virginia area community. The Parkview Learning Center is a state-of-the-art facility and is a model neighborhood school.”
If any of these testimonials convince you to sign up for a class, please call the ECFE office at 742-3805! We still have openings in winter classes 2017 and would love to have you join us!
ECFE is requesting snack items for those who attend gym night. Please bring one or two of these items to gym night within the quarter: 1 gallon of 100% apple juice, 1 box plain graham crackers, 1 box Goldfish crackers, 1 box teddy graham crackers, 1 box animal crackers, or 1 box vanilla wafers. Thank you!
ECFE family gym nights are a special shared playtime for caregivers to be with their children. It is not a time for roughhousing or playing sports with adult friends. It is not a time for ECFE staff to babysit children while adults socialize with one another. It is not a time for adults to use their cellphones/ laptops/ iPads while ECFE staff babysit their children.
At ECFE, we want all adults and children to play safely. We don’t want any family to feel afraid of being hurt because adults are throwing balls carelessly and not paying attention to those around them. As you attend ECFE family gym nights, please be courteous of others and enjoy playing with your children.
