Minnesota State High School League Website

Registration Forms and Important Information:

  1.  Please bring a completed MSHSL Eligibility Form and Health Questionnaire along with the physical form, if needed, to register. (forms below)

  2. Pay Online via Parent Portal (Pay Online Directions) OR
  3. Make check payable to ISD 706.  (Activity Fees are listed below)

  4. Parent and Student signatures are required on all forms.

  5. All completed forms must be returned to the activities office before an athlete/student can receive a clearance slip to participate.

Head Coach/Staff for Sports and Activities

Fall Sports  –  Volleyball, Football, Girls Tennis, Boys and Girls Cross Country Running, Girls Swimming, Boys and Girls Soccer, Fall Clay Target League and Pom Pons.

Winter Sports  –  Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Swimming, Boys Hockey, Girls Hockey, Boys and Girls Nordic Skiing, Boys and Girls Alpine Skiing, Wrestling, Speech Team, Robotics Team, Pom Pons and Knowledge Bowl.

Spring Sports  –  Boys Tennis, Boys and Girls Track, Baseball, Softball, Spring Clay Target League, Pom Pons, Boys Golf and Girls Golf.

CLUBS AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES  –  Green Team, Stand for the Silent, LEO’s, Art Club, Orchestra, Choir, Band, Pep Band, Engineering Club, Flags, Foreign Language Clubs, IRYA, Jazz Band, Math Counts (Jr. High), NHS,  Rifles, Video Crew, Wind Ensemble, Yearbook, and Concert Band,

(These fees do not apply to clubs or co-curricular activities.)

Grade 7 – $110

Grade 8 – $120

Grade 9 – 12 – $130

Pom Pons – $65 (2018-2019)

Speech – Half of the above prices (depending on grade level)

Robotics – Half of the above prices (depending on grade level)

Knowledge Bowl – $25

Clay Target – check for current fee with the activities director

(The Family Cap for a school year is $500 per family)


 Sporting Events Ticket Information

Virginia Students Free with School ID or Pass

Season Ticket Prices:  Adult – $70, Senior (62+) – $35, College Students  – $25

(Season Tickets may be purchased in the VHS Activities Office.)

Single Game Ticket Prices: Student (includes college students) – $4.00, Adult – $6.00, Senior $4.00

(Tickets must be purchased at the game/event site.)


 

Blue Pride Fundimgres

The Virginia High School Activities Department, in conjunction with the Virginia Community Foundation, is fortunate to have a dedicated fund that supports Virginia High School Activities.  The Blue Pride fund directly supports VHS activities that fall under the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).  Your donations will immediately benefit the activities and students at Virginia High School.  For more information, contact Josh Lamppa, VHS Activities Director at jlamppa@vmps.org or call 218-742-3922.
