Early Childhood Screening is a FREE health and developmental screening that is required by the State of Minnesota for all school children before entering kindergarten. The screening time includes immunization records review, height and weight measurement, hearing and vision screening and standardized developmental screening of speech, language, concepts, motor skills and social/emotional development. The results are summarized during a parent interview. Early childhood screening identifies, at an early age, possible health or learning concerns, so appropriate interventions can be implemented quickly.
If your child is 3, 4, or 5 years old and has not been screened, now is the time!!!
